"The Buck Stops Here."-Cerosan Army motto

The Cerosan Army is mainly a peacekeepng force. Cerosans in general are very patriotic, and many join the Cerosan Army as soon as they are of age.

Cerosan Army Discipline

The Cerosan Army has three strict rules as for how it treats civilians from other nations.

One: NEVER harm an unarmed civilian unless given proper provocation to do so. In this case, "proper provocation" means "Don't attack unless they pose an actual threat to you and/or your unit".

Two: Treat foreign civilians with respect at ALL times.

Three: If occupying foreign land, never EVER restrict the basic rights that your countrymen fought so hard to obtain for YOUR benefit.

Cerosan Army Combat Doctrine

The Cerosan Army utilizes a combat strategy they call "Shock and Conquer". They roll into a battlefield and use a combination of firepower and tactical maneuverability to quickly surround an enemy force and defeat them with as little bloodshed as possible. When on the defensive, they use the guerrilla fighting they know so well to keep ahead of enemy forces.

The First Cerosan Special Forces Squadron

Picture
Undoubtedly, the most highly trained and most well-known division in the Cerosan Army is the First Cerosan Special Forces Squadron, or CSF for short. The CSF consists of 30 men and women, each trained to exhibit their peak performance on the battlefield. The CSF is considered the first and last line of defense for Cerosa, and is often called upon to perform military actions in other countries. They are respected and feared, for good reason, as a single CSF operative is worth ten ordinary soldiers in combat. Whenever the CSF is not on a mission, they serve as the personal bodyguard unit for the Cerosan Prime Minister and their family.

Vehicles

The Komodo Main Battle Tank series

Picture
The Komodo MBT is the tank used by the Cerosan Army and Marine Corps. The current line is the B-series, which hearkens back to the old A1s.

Komodo B1: A recycled version of the A1, it features all of the A1s former specs: Range of 3-1/2 miles, speed of 90 miles per hour, etc. However, as a departure from the A1, the B1 is supposed to be manned by three crew, instead of one: Driver, Commander, and Gunner. The B1 fires a 120mm tungsten round, and features a 30mm coaxial chaingun on the chassis, operated by the gunner.

B1 Komodo statistics:

Service start: 2109 CC
Passengers: One driver, one gunner, one commander
x1 120mm smooth bore turret firing tungsten rounds
 x1 30mm coaxial chaingun

AH-64E Apache Longbow

Picture
The AH-64E is an upgraded version of the venerable AH-64D attack helicopter. While unchanged in appearance, The E-variant sports stealth and radar jamming material. It is also capable of using "Brimstone" plasma missiles, though the scarcity of these once plentiful missiles means that the Apache now has to revert back to conventional missiles. It has served Cerosa faithfully since first being fielded in 2079, and continues to operate, even with the introduction of the more-advanced AH-85 Hopi attack helicopter.

AH-64E statistics:

AH-85B Hopi

Picture
The AH-85 was derived from the canceled RAH-66 Comanche of the former United States Army. The AH-85 is smaller, sleeker, and faster than the AH-64E, and possesses even better stealth, radar, and radar-jamming technology. The Hopi also sports internal weapons bays, where it holds up to eight AIM-99X homing missiles. It sports a two-person crew, and like the AH-64E, it carries a 30mm chaingun. The AH-85 is in use for both the Army and the Marine Corps, and is expected to be in service for 25 years.

Dark Matter Combat Pistol (DMCP) Mk. II

Picture
The DMCP, like it's cousins in the Mk. II DMC line, holds Dark Matter slugs as an ammunition source. It fires fifteen rounds before it's clip needs to be replaced.

MG-220 PDMMG

Picture
The MG-220 PDMMG (Portable Dark Matter Machine Gun) is a new Cerosan weapon, featuring Dark Matter as an ammo source. The MG-220 is capable of carrying 220 rounds per magazine, making it an excellent squad support weapon.

RLA3 MRLS

Picture
The RLA3 MRLS (Multiple Rocket Launcher System) is the heavy-duty weapon of choice for the Army and Marines. It fires 10 rockets, and each can be programmed for a pre-selected target.

Mk. II "Siren" Sniper Rifle

Picture
This Sniper Rifle was based off of the AR-50 sniper Rifle once used by the United States. It fires a 12.7mm bolt-action round, and has a range of 2 miles at maximum. The fact that the Cerosans nicknamed this weapon the "Siren" is ironic; it has a built in sound suppressor, so it is virtually as loud as a whisper when firing.

M-46 Concussion Grenade

Picture
The M-46 is a new hand grenade created by the Cerosan military. When it explodes, the heavy concussive blast is enough to knock even the largest soldeir off their feet, and even kill them if they are not wearing adequate armor.

Mk. II Assault Rifle

Picture
This was the orignal infantry weapon used by Cerosa before they discovered plasma weaponry. It is based off of the Belgian FN FAL. The Mk. II is capable of carrying 40 rounds per magazine. Phased out of action once the PPCR was issued, the Mk. II AR is now used for training and ceremonial duties.
