Senior Chief Petty Officer Spartan-307 "Alex"

BIO: In 2530, the Human-Covenant War was still raging in the Outer Colonies. After Spartan-034's death in 2525, the higher-up's in the UEG government decided to create a "new" set of Spartans... perfect ones. This took years to finalize, and after it was finally decided that this attempt, the "SPARTAN-X Project", was able to be funded (it turned out to be cheaper then the Spartan-II program), the project began on July 4, 2530. The process required taking DNA samples from five Spartans: Spartan-117, Spartan-051, Spartan-104, Spartan-043, and Spartan-087. Once this was accomplished, the DNA was used to create "clones" of the original Spartan-IIs. The UNSC scientists were able to create synthetic female chromosomes (male in the case of Spartan-087's clone), and thus were able to create these clones while giving them unique traits. Because flash-cloning would not work, the cloning process took approximately 22 years.
Unfortunately, four of the five Spartan-X's died in development. The lone survivor was the clone created from the DNA of Spartan-117. This Spartan-X, numbered "307", was activated on July 4, 2552. He participated in the Battle of Reach, as the only Spartan on board the UNSC destroyer UNSC Armageddon's Edge. In his first deployment, Spartan-307 (aka "Alexander", or "Alex"), took out an entire Covenant company with relative ease. However, even he was forced to retreat from the planet after the Covenant began glassing Reach. While he did not participate in the Halo Event, he was stationed on Earth, and participated in the First and Second Battles of Earth on October 20, 2552, and Spring 2553. After this, he was outfitted with MJOLNIR Mark VI/CQB armor (he had used the original permutation during his time on Earth).
He has blond hair, bright blue eyes, and a few freckles across his face.
Because the aim of the Spartan-X project was to create a "perfect" Spartan team, Alex is far superior in every respect to other Spartans, including his "father", Spartan-117. Spartan-307's rank as of 2555 is Senior Chief Petty Officer.
He also has a unique view of the other Spartans:
He refers to John-117 as his "father", due to Alex being cloned from John's DNA. Had the other four Spartan-X's survived, he would've had three "brothers" and one "sister". Consequentially, he views Spartans -104, -051, -043, and -087 (as well as the other Spartan-IIs) as "uncles" and "aunts". He views the Spartan-IIIs as his "cousins".

Weapons
M90B Automatic Close Assault Weapon System (ACAWS)
Alex's personal favorite weapon, the M90B ACAWS is chambered in Soellkraft 8 Gauge Shells and is very effective against Brutes and even better against Drones and Grunts. The M90B has a 12 shell tube, and since it is automatic, it will fire all those rounds within seconds. Also, the M90B has a slight chance at jamming, but so far it has not done so in Alex's hands.
M7/Caseless Sub Machine Gun
The M7/Caseless SMG is an automatic UNSC sub machine gun that fires from a 60-round magazine which is placed horizontally on the left side of the weapon. This is a standard sidearm for Alex, and he is capable of firing two at once with little difficulty, despite the M7's notorious recoil issues.
MA5C Individual Combat Weapon System (ICWS)
The MA5C ICWS is a standard UNSC firearm distributed to the UNSC Navy and Marine Corps, and one that Alex commonly uses (if he doesn't already have a shotgun). The MA5C fires M118 7.62x51mm Armor Piercing, Full Metal Jacket Rounds.
MA37 ICWS
The MA37 ICWS is a standard UNSC firearm, distributed to the UNSC Army. Alex first used this rifle on Reach during the Battle of Reach, but did not come into contact with it again until his return to Reach in 2555. The MA37 is very similar to the MA5C, holding a 32-round clip. Despite this, the MA37 has a slightly slower rate of fire (this makes it slightly more accurate), has a more skeletal aesthetic design, and a larger targeting reticle than the MA5C.
M6C/SOCOM
The M6C/SOCOM is a silenced, semi-automatic pistol that is used as a sidearm for UNSC Special Operations troops (Spartan-IIs, -IIIs, -Xs, Orbital Drop Shock Troops). Alex has been known to use this in conjunction with the M7 SMG.
