Cerosan Culture
Cerosa, being a country founded on individual responsibility, and individual liberty and freedom, prefers to have it's own citizens handle their own, private affairs, with minimal government interference. Cerosans are a hard-working, intelligent, and unabashedly stubborn group of people. Every Cerosan is taught from birth the fundamentals of democracy, republicanism, and libertarian ideology. As a result, they grow up with the belief that government is at its best when it is small and does not interfere with it's citizens unless needed to. The one thing Cerosans cherish above all else is their freedom, and every single one is willing to defend their freedom from internal and external threats. Cerosans are renowned for their work speed; they can complete tasks extremely quickly. This, coupled with their high intelligence average, allows the Cerosans to break through technological barriers very quickly.
In a curious anomaly, virtually all Cerosan women are bisexual. This is due to an odd, unexplainable neurological condition found only IN Cerosan women, referred to by the Cerosans as "Ripening". Ripening is caused when a Cerosan woman's brainwaves are jolted in a way that causes that woman to become bisexual. The Ripening occurs usually when said woman sees another female (of any race) that they consider attractive, though "other" methods of seduction may or may not be used. This condition has three symptoms, occurring one after the other in a nearly immediate fashion. The symptoms are as follows: Bright white splotches appearing in the woman's vision, an uncontrollable trembling of the body, and a nearly irresistible sexual urge for the woman that caused the woman in question to Ripen.
The first Cerosan woman to exhibit the symptoms of the Ripening process was Melissa Gennett. Not long after, many Cerosan women began to experience the anomaly themselves, until virtually every Cerosan female between the ages of 18 and 35 had Ripened as of September 2112.
